| Pete Yes, no mirrors , indicators etc, They clean up well I cringed at the cost of another Hi-mistral, so a Ron-Pipe was constructed. I'm running the Ndbk roller map and it seems fine going around the block to mid Rpm's. Time will tell. Induction is stock with snorkel removed. Street Bugger that, I have enough trouble Staying upright on tar

| Beautiful GRiSO, well done! It's a Kawasaki-green devil. It seems the GRiSO can wear just about any color. | |

| Ron, holes in the screen, they make him go faster? Thad was the theory when I was a lad, that and the black stripe...
Sad, innit.
Looks good though | |

| Tony : I'm playing with an idea to lower the turbulent air coming of the rear edge of the screen. It's smooth air without the screen , but a bitch at high speed. So screen back on for the moment anyway. Anyone have an R90S 1/4 fairing for sale ? | |

| Change the angle of the screen Ron. Lifting the leading edge to allow more air underneath and over the instruments will create less of a low pressure area between you and the screen.
Most people assume a bigger screen will push air over the top, but often it creates separate high pressure and low pressure zones, thus creating turbulence, buffeting and noise around the head and shoulders.
Ducati Hypermotard and sitting almost bolt upright. With standard instrument cover and factory tank bag about level with my solar plexus, I sat in a still air pocket at 150kph.
Aero is a black art. |

| Loaded a Beetle map last week and after some help from him resolving a cold start issue, I took the GRiSO to eastern Wa and put a bit over 900 miles on it over the weekend. Beautiful weather, bike ran great, was a good weekend *grin*. | |

Beautiful shots!! I am starting to warm up to the Centauro: I always thought that bike was just too odd-looking, but now I think it looks spectacular in yellow. Love the Centauro, eh? Dave just got one in trade at Moto in Seattle...

Dave just got one in trade at Moto in Seattle... Can't find the bike on their website. But anyway: with the current USD-CAD exchange rate I am not too eager to go shopping across the border!

| So, what did I do with my GRiSO last Wednesday? Traded it in! On another GRiSO! Dave at Moto Int'l in Seattle had another one of his killer deals on their website, and I took the bait. Traded the '07 1100 on a new '15 1200SE! I rode the 1100 to Seattle from Portland (no slab), then rode the 1200 back to Portland the next day. I must say, I agree with Steak and Street - both former 1100 riders - that the difference is palpable! Lots more torque, a wider power band in every gear, and much better acceleration. I'm a happy GRiSO guy! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]New bike in the foreground - pretty coppery red - the old 1100 is in the background, beyond the white 1400.

| I was just on that part of SR 600 a few weeks ago (although not on the GRiSO)... What a great stretch of road! - RightD [quote="Bill Hagan"] Is her name "Winter?" Anyway, went riding with Matt yesterday. I have to say that his (my former) Ballabio with those double Mistrals has to be the best sounding motorcycle -- of any brand! -- I have ever heard. Riding behind him as I did while I could keep up was a joy. He lives in Iowa, so some of the roads here made him stoooopid ... and happy. See, e.g., this short section of Virginia SR 600, only two miles, if that, from my driveway ... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
