According to Weatherzone the rain should clear this evening and it's going to be a dry-ish weekend. The site is down at the moment but I think it was 5% chance of <1mm both Friday and Saturday.

Last test was OK, but the maker suggested I let it dry out over a longer period, which I did. I haven't tested it since. Kinda been raining for months. I'll guess I'll find out.
just cleaned up Ralf's Tenni after the Tumut weekend when 50 gazillion bugs and other life forms sacrificed themselves in support of motorcycling. Also fitted some lowered pegs while its early Hinkley Triumph stablemate got new brake pads and heated grips

Gary, good to see I am not the only one using carpet to keep the old girl's feet warm. Those footrests look good - Al Alloy?

Did Ralf approve that modification?
Well, no, not yet . But, certainly, discretion in relation to mods is essential. As long as the bike doesn't end up being posted in 'Things that make you go Hmm' too frequently

It's a runner again too! We'll bolt the boat back on tomorrow.

Today I managed to finish a video. GRiSO heads south of the South Island.

A nice ride out to the dam this morning but it got a bit warm on the way back.
Apparently a few years ago after one of the cyclones hit just north of Townsville and it bucketed with rain for a week the water level in the dam was five metres above the spillway in this pic! I was it seems a sight to behold!

That's pretty awesome, Pete. Does four constitute a gaggle of Grisos?

In FNQ it's probably all the GRiSO's bar one in a 500 mile radius! I think there's another one in Cairns about 375km north of Townsville. Apart from that I know of none.
