| Well, over the weekend I swapped out a complete wiring loom on a G11. The PO of the bike had changed the power outlet for one that lectric gear plugs into. Pulled lots of amps through little wires. | |

with the clever use of RAM effect, they should provide plenty of backpressure!! Pat, your clutch is on its way. I sent the entire assembly with the tool. If you have any questions? Call. Pete

| More than 8hrs. I'm anal about it being twisted and bent identical to factory. I started in the tail, unplugged a few then plugged up the new ones. Did it like that all the way to ending at the dash. Pulling old harness out as new harness went in. Tank, airbox and all bodywork was off 1st. The only components taken loose were R/H coil & horn. Most of the time spent was thinking and looking how to route it w/o taking things apart. It has to be just like factory or the tank won't go back in the frame, my main concern. Still got more work to do before we test it. Rear shock spring adjustment. | |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Mark, glad you could, and did, throw a leg over. Passed rego inspection no doubt? "On the road again..." albeit gingerly and for limited periods. Winner! I like the new tread pattern on the PR5s, just saying. Looks like you might be in a position to have to change yours soonish?

| Passed easily. Tyres are good, it's just a crap photo. I was still a-quiver with joy when I took it. Some further fettling is required, as controls etc need adjustment. Sitting on bike in garage is not the same as riding.
Interesting conversation while the "inspection" happened.
Inspector: "Geez, it's in good nick for 45 thousand k's" Me: (puzzled) "well, I do look after it" (to self - 45 thou isn't a lot. WTF?)
Curious Onlooker: "Motor Goozy. They stole that engine design from BMW" Me: "er...BMW boxer engines are flat. That's a 90 degree v-twin" Curious Onlooker: "yeah, but they stole it" Me: "ok" (no point arguing with idiots)

| Well, not my GRiSO but Jude and I just went down to Bungendore railway station and met Michael off the train! Forgot to take a pic but he's back for Christmas. Wayne would like his wheelchair, it's made of carbon fibre! We'll drag him down the pub in the next few days and get a few pics! He's looking good. | |

| It's only for Christmas. He still has a long way to go. Getting from his chair to the car was...... Difficult. Bear in mind it's early days but heeffectively has nothing apart from dead weight below his sternum. As for crowd funding? I dunno if he'd want that but any donations from people can be sent to me and I'll just stick them straight in his account. I'm still paying him approximately $100 a week which is going to be a real pain at tax time because he's a casual and therefore I *Shouldnt* be paying him and I'm sure the tax office will have some sort of penalty for that. | Yeah, sort of but apparently the tax office doesn't have a code or whatever for people who don't treat their employees like shit. My main concern is that it may effect his compo payments. I'm sure the accountants will sort something out otherwise I'll have to go 'Old School' and start scuttling around with brown paper bags full of money! | |
