| Wave rotors? The whole point was to remove the stock wave rotors.

| The Grimeca rotors are stock items on the RSV4, I think they work at an acceptable level for WSBK. I believe these same rotors maybe fitted to Stelvio's.
I have BrakeTech Axis Iron rotors on Bella with the 4 spot/4 pad calipers off a 998S, and a Brembo radial M/C. Mark has the M4 monoblocks and Brembo RCS, I think they STOP!
I suffer from brain fade long before my bikes runs out of brakes, even at a track day I am just to chicken shit to go for maximum retardation, see signature. |

| Tortured the GRiSO today. Rode the G to Melbourne this afternoon at around 5.30 and the temp all the way was 43C (109F) and then rode in the insane Melbourne traffic along Sydney Road. Did it worry the big G, Not a bit. Coming home just now at 10.30pm the temp is still 30C. More of the same tomorrow and then only 26C on Saturday. | |

| Rode to work for the third time this week. Simply Awesome!
Our hot weather starts winding up today, with some "relief" on Monday or Tuesday. Gotta love summer in Straya!
They talk global warming. I remember when I was at primary school, we would get a heat wave that would last 6 weeks or so - twas normal back then. Now we only get one for a few days at a time.
Funny thing was, if the temperature got to (back in those days) 100 F, we all got sent home from school and had to walk it is well - might have been cooler staying at school. None of us had hats then, either.

| Well, not GRiSO but Stelvio, which is Fat GRiSO! We finally managed to get the Stelvio from Hell sorted last week! New motor, re-calibrated throttle bodies, (More ass than class!) and we managed a 160km loop out of Bungendore and the two bikes used the same fuel within 300 ml! CO is at an acceptable +5. It was 38*C when we got back from the loop. We needed a beer! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Michael has now been despatched off to NZ to rollerise a bike there and have a well deserved weeks holiday! Am I a good boss or what? Pete | |

| Took delivery of my Carbtune so sloped off to the garage and threw the wife's motorbike out in the rain and set forth to learn a bit more about the old girl. Checked valve clearances (again). Left hand airbleed was almost 1/4 turn open and right hand was 1/8 open, closed the buggas. Ran engine up to speed pulling more vac on RHS so turned crank screw 1/2 turn to balance vacs - hey that takes some doing as the thing doesn't like being held between 3.5K and 4K. Opened left hand bleed screw a smidge to balance tickover. Opened GuzziDiag with my new lonelec leads connected and boom we were instantly online and that's using a Surface Pro running latest windows too. TPS was 5.2' so reset that. Reset learning parameters. ...but I couldn't do the last step of going for a ride because it's 3'C and pissing down. That's what I did with my GRiSO today I probably did something wrong so i'll brace for impact LOL |

| Installed some aux lights on the forks today. Messed with the suspension some trying to get it a bit more comfortable. I only have 1 ride of 100 miles on it since I bought it in December. Tomorrow I am going on a 300 miles ride to eat so I can get use to the bike. Finally LOL it's been killing me, damn cold weather in the southeast. | |

| GRiSO took me for a loop of some well trodden roads, sun was out, tarmac was hot, tyres were sticky and the day brilliant. The nice revenue officer that pulled me over to have a quiet chat and discuss a donation to put our great state in the black again decided that I could move along as I was not the one she was looking for! My mind powers are coming along nicely .... | |

| 320 mile ride for lunch today and found some nice back roads for southeast Gerogia. Finally got to get out and ride, 35 mpg on first tank and 40 on the second Second tank was 89 octane with no ethanol in it. I love the bike but the damn seat is a torture seat, my ass bone still hurts. I think I see a Corbin in my future. | |

Start thinking about a new shock I did before I picked up the bike. The last four bikes I have owned I installed an Ohlins on them. I think it is time for something different. Anybody got any suggestions (LOL I am sure I won't get any suggestions) A different seat is on my horizon also. I am also thinking about engine guards if I can put some highway pegs on them. I know, fugly, but his old ass needs to be able to stretch my legs out without standing up on the pegs. My new left hip likes to cramp up at times.

No I bought her fully grown If you mean raised the seat height, no and as far as I know the previous owner didn't either. Why do you ask?

| Well, I havent done much with my GRiSO lately except to add some leads to the battery for the trickle charger.... I guess I am making her jealous because I am working on the Brown Bitch (Norge) As I am back in a metro area and will be commuting most days, I needed to make some modifications to the lighting and horn. I installed an extra bright LED strip to the luggage rack, and wired in a plug so when I want to pull the rack off I can without much drama. I also wired in an LED Headlight to the front of the bike. This light has a pulse feature and an alternating red/blue ring around the light. Hopefully this will make me more visible on approach from front or rear. I also did a plug and play with a sound blaster horn of some type, much better than the meep meep joke of the stock horn. My final modification I have slipped in between trips in and out of the garage when working off the honeydo list from SWMBO, was to wire in a relay for the Corbin heated seat. While I had the wires apart for the tail light I used the taillight to send the switched power to the relay. Prior to this my lazy @$$ just connected the seat to the battery. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Not sure why the images are flipped.......I deleted all photos, started over and tried several times..... but here is the LED headlight [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is the tailight........... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And finally the Crumb Cruncher, Sorry about orientation I tried and failed..... I'm going to bed before I turn this laptop into a frisbee............ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I do have a few things planned for the GRiSO for the off season, but it did get the honor of being used to start indoctrinating my grandson. ;-)
