| It looks the same as mine, and if it is, then it's an Agostini Hydroformed. Sounds great. | |

| Returned from 2100-miler on Norge on Monday, and my GRiSO was annoyed at the inattention … [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]So, off I went on this 10%-of-that day-ride ... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Yes, a 200-mile r/t to Accident, Maryland. Rode that route counterclockwise. Great roads; weird name for a town. My destination was here ... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Doesn’t look like much, but inside of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I am seriously considering motodultery with that Stornello. $7995 with no freight or set-up fees. But, as CFO Kathi is at OBX, it seemed wrong to cheat on her and the Guzzi harem without consultation , so I rode back home … [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]… and thought about it with some "assistance.” [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Kathi sent me a pic of her and daughter getting similar assistance … tho she would kill me if I shared. But, coupled “Yes, dear, it has ABS,” “This could be a 70th birthday present to myself,” “I really need a lighter motorcycle,” and the “You know, Kathi, this will (probably) be my last new motorcycle” ploy, the discussions might go swimmingly. Seriously, have seen some chatter here and on w/g about the V7 II’s and III’s that, at the time, I paid little attention to, but am now interested. Perhaps I misremember, but thought the bottom line was that the II’s are problematic in mapping, etc. Hope I am wrong. Comments? Bill | |

| Have no fear; Beatle is here! So, as said in that other forum, there's no real reason not to go ahead and grab it while you can. Should be a lot of fun. | |

| Go for it, Bill! Kathi will get over it, won't she? I must say, I'll never get used to seeing "Accident" on your route maps without my heart skipping a beat! --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]“Danger + Survival = Fun.” - Neil Peart[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

Noted with thanks. And, "as said in that other forum" ... I sent an email to the dealer to arrange to buy that Stornello. When Kathi got home tonight and I raised the subject, she said, "Of course. What a great idea. I should have thought of something like that." I am married to a saint. That is much harder than it sounds, btw. Bill | |

| You, Bill, are a seriously lucky man having a woman like that. I feel the same about Heather. She came along on her Honda to Ballarat with to "help" me pick up my new Vozz helmet. While we were there she tried on a pair of new boots and would have bought them except they were one size too big. She too, is thinking of getting a new bike by the end of the year and I've almost convinced her to get a V7 111. | |

| TB balance done. I noted with interest that when done doesn't pay attention to the placement of the rocker cover gaskets, they can be misplaced in such a way as to allow a high pressure spray of oil to coat the entire right side of the bike aft of the cylinder. Consequently, I was required to spray the bike with the pressure washer and a goodly amount of Simple Green to remove aforementioned oil spray. Actually it was a right frontbottom. There was something wrong with the brackets but Michael is nothing if not persistent! All sorted now. We'll post a pic tomorrow, if you're nice...... | |

| It only took a month after turning 71 for my wrists to start killing me when riding my GRiSO. So today I raised my handlebars 10mm and took a quick 50 mile ride to see if that addressed the arthritic wrist pain. Sure enough...that did the trick (along with some aspirin for my back...LOL)...at least until my next birthday! Funny, my wife was starting to chat-up the new V7 III Anniversary my dealer has on the floor as a replacement for the GRiSO! I told her there really is NO replacement for a GRiSO, but I understand as she really likes her V7 Special. I'll be there someday... | |
