Got her back from the paint shop today, shining like a new pin! Though I'll just take her for a wee spin and blow the dust off, well the weather is excellent for now...120 miles later stopped for coffee ... what a bike, great to be reunited!

I've been curious about the effect of taking out the db-killers from the Ipothesys exhaust so away they came. I rode the beast 2 days and noticed no noticeable difference in power and to my surprise the engine felt better below 3000 rpm. The sound was beautiful @idle and on even throttle and overrun. On accelerating full bore it was, well, obnoxious. So back in with the db-killers. I must be getting old.

The 140 mile run on the GRiSO saddle today was like floating on air by comparison.
Weather stayed dry an overcast, no incidents, GRiSO behaved perfectly. Havin' a few cold ones to round off a great weekend. Smile

HAHA! Saddle supports you on your "sit bones" - takes the pressure off other sensitive areas. That said at the 50 mile mark you still feel like you have been booted up the arse!

I contacted Onur, the guy who offered handlebar risers on eBay.
Having completed the first 700 kms on my GRiSO I think I could improve comfort a little bit. We´ll see...

Changed the oil and spark plugs. Finally put on the blingy heel guards I got from Toni (2highlander) - US customs only delayed them by 10 months!

Did fluid changes today. Stuck a rare earth magnet on the drain plug. Figured it couldnt hurt.
