| The Misses and I rode to Mudgee on Friday arvo for the Mudgee Toy Run 1200 Km round trip. Had a bloody hoot.I don't Know how many bikes there were but 202 people registered for the dice run,( throw the dice at each stop) The toy run went from Mudgee to Duneedoo , Coolah and Cassilis and back to Mudg. A snappy schooner at Duneedoo and off to Coolah for a schooner and a steak sanga. I doubled a mates 9 year old son on this leg. He reckoned it was pretty cool but not as comfortable as wifeys V7 Stone which he finished the run on. The next leg was from Coolah to Cassilis via the Vinegaroy Rd. A kiwi mate , Aussie Mike , was ridin the young fellas Dad's Triumph rocket 3. Bastard,he finally found a bike he can stay in front of me on. I rounded him up once but he rounded me up again. I only saw 210 Mike reckoned he saw 230 on the Rocket. The Vinegaroy rd is just about made for holdin the GRiSO flat out,but is bit rough in spots. Mike normally rides an 81 Shovelhead. Good thing Skippy had the day off......At Cassiliss there was a coupla blokes playin guitars and banjos Cassilis has got a population of about 350. Motor bikes every where. We then took the bikes back to my mates place and got well and truly on it. we raised $8000 for the Salvos. The ride home from Mudgee ,460 km, was good but boring. | |

| Ahhhhhh, yes. A friend from a Facebook riders group just finished 2 months airline stewardess training. So we all gathered for a surprise party at a local cantina. Of all these riders I was the only person to roll up on my bike.

| I went down again. More scratches on the RH jug and valve cover and oil cooler cover. I've decided not to bother prettying up the G, 'cos I'll just fuck it up again. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| OUCH! I have visited the pavement many times over the years, most recently on the GRiSO two years ago. It has been my experience that the roads do not soften over the years, and I seem to get more brittle. Best wishes on healing all pieces ... of you and GRiSO. Do remember that chicks dig scars, and the GRiSO seems especially tough-looking with those. Bill | |

| It was low speed. The oil cooler cover dug into to the gravel like a tractor at a pull. The rear wheel slipped to the left, which turned out to be fortunate, as the bevel box only copped a smidge of dirt and a heap of Patterson's Curse. I bounced off and was on my feet in milliseconds, as the right jug met gravel and stopped. I reckon I had the bike back up before I even had a chance to curse. A bit too fast methinks, as I was still on the right hand side of the bike. Adrenalin in action. I had to grip the front brake and carefully get back on from the right, as I feared it would fall on it's left side as it had slid off the level part of the shoulder. No start, of course. I had to release the pressure in the tank before it would start. A wee scary moment as I eased off the clutch to get back on the road as the rear wheel started sliding again.
Folding brake lever folded and rear brake lever has a wee bend. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! .

Nah, It's one off those flat tappet bastards that's had the shit flogged out of it. I think the only thing it hasn't done is a somersault. Well let's just say I hope it don't!

| Leapt out of bed today with a twinkle in my eye. Cold front moving through meant a top of 26 degrees at around 3.00pm. Woohoo! Ride!
I whipped up brekky for me and she, followed by coffee. Double shot espresso for her, and a double shot flat white for me. All the while thinking about the GRiSO. Finished my coffee and looked up and said "I'm going for poot on me scoot". Uh oh. Sinking feeling. She had that 'honey-do' look about her.
Jobs:
Rewire WC exhaust fan. I had to pull some tiles to drill a hole through the top plate. While on the roof, I find other things that need doing. Curse. 3 hours gone.
String up two set of Christmas lights, totaling 50 metres. Clipped around the eaves. Two types of ladder required. The get the extension ladder for the cable ends of the roof, I had to move the GRiSO. Oh well, touched it at least. 3 hours gone.
Lunch. And rest. 1 hour gone.
Remove spiders and webs, as well as other bugs etc from barbed wire Christmas tree. Yes, barbed wire. Spray with bug killer so it can be brought into the house. 1/2 hour gone.
Need to get potting mix from store. Help to re-pot plant. 1 hour gone
Help with lights on barbed wire Christmas tree. 1/2 hour gone.
Rest. Cold drink. 1/2 hour gone.
Load latest Agostini Black-X map into scoot and ride, 9/12 hours later than planned. Something wrong. Scoot idling at 2000 RPM. Kill engine. Restart. Idle 1200. Ride. Idle at 2000 again. Screech!
Go home. Look at map. Don't like what I see. WTF? Must have been drunk when I built it. Rebuild map. Load into GRiSO.
Tomorrow, I ride. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! .
