| G'day all Happy, happy Changed over the fly screen to the touring screen this arvo to give it a try. Been looking to fitting a bar extender but noticed the tightness of the hyd lines and never progressed because of this. But, when removing the fly screen it soon became apparent that the fitter of this screen placed the screen support on the wrong side taking away slack for these lines. Anyway fitted the new supports on the correct side and now there will be enough slack to fit the 25mm bar riser. Cheers | |

| Going to gas up in a few and will do my best to try to enjoy a ride on the GRiSO this afternoon. May have to ride her tomorrow as well if I don't get any pleasure out of her today. Yeah, I can definitely see that happening | |

| I've had the V7C parked in my neighbour's garage since the end of March - moved it out on Saturday, to go up to Shed 10. One stab at the starter to check, second stab - it just fell into its idle. Impressed the hell out of the neighbour. Powered by SSB lithium.
While I had it out, took it for a run - down to Bundeena & up and down RNP - still has a bit of clutch slip, but OK taking it easy - really good to ride it, seems lighter, smoother, and more nimble than the V7S & the Staintunes are much more civilised & subtle that the Mistrals. So it will be up to the shed this week to replace the clutch.

| Got called out to an RSV4 today; To Quote Beetle. "Him battery fella no good. Battery fella him no crank. Him battery fella name Yuasa SSB."
Replaced SSB with Yuasa YTZ10-S with a whole lot more cold cranking amps. All good. Charging system fine. Plenty of voltage in the SSB, just missing 120 of its (CCA's) torques. |

Noisy ????? - you say that SO like its a BAD thing ...... At some distant juncture, I expect a dB killer of approx 40mm ID will be fabricated but until this sad day ...... I'm gonna enjoy the MUSIC (If those gormless fucks that run Harleys at max volume can get away with their sidevalve sounding racket, it's more than acceptable for real Vtwin music to be shared with the masses) | |

| Today, I renewed the 4 spark plugs, what a job!!!! Want a laugh ? Yes I hear, I got a plug socket and started to grind it down to get out the first internal plug, I ground and ground and ground, how thin does this bloody thing have to be ? Got to a point where there was very little left when I decided to get an inspection mirror to see what was stopping it !!! Then I seen it, the bloody plug is a smaller size, so got a small plug socket and started grinding again, this time with sucess. New plugs now installed. Caoi | |

| Loud pipes suck, especially with the 8V, dunno why it has to be to do with the harmonics but you can't get that wonderful 'Basso Profundo' sound out of one even if you separate the pipes. Why? Fucked if I know? But loud 8V's just sound noisy, not good.
I also like to ride further than the corner store and loud means pain in the arse on the road.
