| Arrived home after a 7 day work trip, kissed Jan hello, grabbed a beer , walked out into the outdoor area and flipped the cover off GRiSO and gave it a pat. (Jan) " You miss that bike more than me ", (Me) " Don't be silly, GRiSO can't cook " Its a good thing this girl still loves me , but special cuddles might be off the table | |

| Took a short ride today to check how the Dart flyscreen works and as expected it has minimal effect. Also filled up the tank, took 3.45 gals, 113 miles. Pretty sad but with frequent throttle roll on and off on a new engine not too surprising. I sure hope Beetle's map helps.

| Fitted my Chinese levers. Much better. You were all right about that little grub screw.
Stuck the oven on when I got in, changed the brake lever, then clutch lever was nice and hot and the grub screw was an easy out!
Job done! | |

| Stopped near Vantage at the Columbia River Gorge overlook to take in the view on the 180 mile ride from Moses Lake back to Seattle yesterday. It was a beautiful day for a ride. | Steak, great pics. Your panniers.....do you reckon it would work to put the strap under the seat so my pillion could avoid it. Been looking at the c bow stuff and it's either that or leave it like you have it and get her a air or gel pad to sit on top of the strap. | |

| Blue You can run the strap for the bags under you seat if you choose. Did this successfully on a 3500 km trip recently with my wife on the back. | |

| Blue,
No marking of the paint on mine but it is easy to put sme tape in vulnerable places to ensure there is no abrassion of the paitwork if you are concerned.

Cheers Mark, Sounds fine for a few trips, but i guess worth protecting the paint if the panniers were on a lot. I used this stuff on my mountain bike, I suppose it would be ok on the GRiSO too. | I had to cut my 42 mile jaunt short because of the 88 degree heat and humidity lilting my linen shirt under my gear. Spectacular roll-on accelerations within the otherwise clean, ocean air were involved to no avail. I'll try again tomorrow.

| After a looooong winter break, I finally had time today to take GRiSO for a spin - and what a joy!!! I fell in love all over again. It is such an incredible bike. I loved it!
(how could I even glance at other bikes in those dirty Motorcycle magazines? Why did I look at glossy pics of Triumphs, Ducatis, or MV Agustas during those long winter nights?
Today's ride made it clear again that GRiSO is incomparable!)
