Canister removal related question Empty
PostSubject: Canister removal related question   Canister removal related question Icon_minitime1Sat Jan 25, 2020 4:45 pm

I removed the canister on my 2015 GRiSO a few weeks ago, and am pondering 3 alternatives, pending advice from the cognoscenti of Canisters here.

Rather than removing the hoses which were connected to the canister, I am considering 3 alternatives.

1. Plug each of the two large black hoses.
2. Connect the two hoses underneath the bike together with a barbed tube.
3. Leave them unplugged (they do have a slight vacuum pull with the engine running.

Which of the 3 would be acceptable and not cause any long term damage? I've tried riding with both options 1 and 2 on long rides, and frankly can't see any difference in performance or mileage.

Thanks!
