My repair kit for the stripped front engine mount is en route so I thought I would get the front engine cover off to prepare.

For those who have done it before, what needs to come apart and in what order?

Any weirdness like left hand threads to worry about?

TIA, Dave in NYC

Nah, not really. Remove bodywork, remove ECU, remove alternator and crank pulley, unbolt cover.

Is removal of crank pulley straight forward or is there a truck to it?

The pulley has two threaded holes in it. 8.mm I believe. It's very easy to rig up a simple puller.

Sounds good, I really didn't want to take off the exhaust...

You'll have to pull the headers, the rest can stay in place, it's only four nuts and two bolts.
