A new problem related to the first question What would cause a GRiSO 1100 to lose power at 5000 RPM?

Yesterday on the way home from a few miles ride on my 2007 GRiSO the motor began to run badly above 5000 RPM and then died. It restarted OK but would not run over 5000 RPM. What should be checked when the sun comes up again?

Saturday morning The motorcycle was running better until the weather got very hot for Wisconsin. Over 90 degrees and the motor stopped running then it would restart and die again I am pretty sure the tank vent was causing it. I don't want to ride it with the gas cap open so I had a look at the plumbing. The front bolt on the tank is so tight I left it in and checked some hoses them found the short hose from the pressure valve to the tank was not connected to the tank on the right side. I don't even know whether the flow should be up that hose from the canister to the tank or down the other way. I wonder what I can do next.

The tank came off without much trouble and cleared the vent put hoses back and came in for lunch. Hoping to get all back as before next so it can be back on a road.
