| Mine was zachary same, Craig - never did find the piece. Also screws (4 off) were only finger tight - came from the factory that way. Obviously in the factory they have to share the special things amongst many: grease pot, torque wrench, what else? | |

| Hi Craig, we're staying at the Lake George in Bungendore on Thursday night. We should get there by around 3 at the latest. We'll be leaving Geelong around 4-5 am. It'd be good to catch up. | |

| Picked up the GRiSO from Pete yesterday and rode it home today. It rained the whole way home, all 760kilometres, and was between 8 and 12 degrees, with a head wind for most of too. But it's home and I'm happy. Big thanks to Pete and Michael for looking after me so well. | |

| Pete, the GRiSO sounds so much better than before, there's no clicking sound anymore and it accelerates better and runs smoother. It feels more together. Thanks for all your help. | |

| Completed version 3 of footpegs & controls. Right side is now rock solid. Still some flex on the left. I will now ponder version 4.

| I went for a ride! Woohoo! It was only 40km, but it’s the first time I’ve ridden it since the Gundaroo cabal. It started first jab. I rolled down the driveway. The familiar “clunk” as I engaged first gear. I eased off the clutch..and stalled. How embarrassment! But...oh frabjous day! --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| Not what I did today, as that promises “in these here parts” to be mighty wet and windy, with below freezing tonight; yikes! But, yesterday was gorgeous at the top of Virginia, so I took out the GRiSO for a romp. It has been languishing while the two 7’s have gotten in a number of leg-stretchers this year. Finally, I could stand its woeful look no longer and saddled up. Holy smokes; I forget how much of a grin maker this sweet beast is. Only did 90-something miles, but — except for a few “I forget how you better pay attention!” moments — it was absolute joy. Heck, even those screamings were fun after I recovered my composure and focused on business. Here’s the route, all on super roads for the likes of the GRiSO. Took it counterclockwise to ensure sun on my back for the last leg. If you go straight up from the taillight -- with a magnifier and some imagination -- you can see Sleepy Creek Mountain (35 miles away) and past that, the gap at Harpers Ferry (55 miles). | Nice route. The mighty GRiSO certainly packs a sweet punch. I've never tired of wacking the throttle open and letting those revs climb! Looks like retirement agrees with you MrBill!! Tell MsKathi hello from Lisa and I. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
