Beetle Mapping a G1100 Empty
PostSubject: Beetle Mapping a G1100   Beetle Mapping a G1100 Icon_minitime1Tue Apr 03, 2018 4:05 pm

Hi all

I successfully mapped my 1100 at the weekend and videoed the process thought it might be of some interest

Apologies about the camera work as its hard to do both (and you see a fair bit of our clothes dryer in the background) but it might give those of you who haven't done it an insight into how easy it is to do.

Before doing this I serviced the bike new fluids, adjusted the valves and balanced the Throttle Bodies (follow Pete's guide on this site) I did video that but you cant hear a word because of the engine noise.

Also there is a short "before and after" test ride

Testride before and after
Really short as the camera turned itself off on the post mapping run, but you can see the difference

As usual this is how I did it and I cant be held responsible if your bike fries itself Very Happy
