Hmm okey, so its best if I replace my worm-type hose clamp that I fitted for a screw-type hose clamp used for fuel lines etc. Does anyone happen to know the correct diameter for the clamps? As these are less adjustable than the worm-type clamps.

You can't reuse oetiker clamps - the metal work hardens then fails at some (unknown) pre-determined time

Last week I bought a pack of 10 14-16mm for under AU$10 from ebay. Tested one on a hose & the sizing seems right.

Well I am ashamed to say that I have had the breather hose and clip replaced by Moto Corsa in Dorset. Probably could have done it myself but trying to find the correct replacement clip/size and the correct hose from the myriad selection available I decided easier to just give it to Moto Corsa. They have also checked and balanced the throttles as it was quite abrupt on and off power, now seems much better. Thanks to all the GRiSO-ista here for help and advice. All sorted and with the Wilbers shock, and forks all set up is handling superbly and running beautifully. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

These are useful posts; my 2017 (4,000mi) is also now weeping from the gallery plugs, both cylinders. Euro-specialists checked the bike post-purchase at 2700mi, and I see I was billed for 4L 10W/60. I've now checked the level, and it's to the tippy-top mark of the dipstick. I'll drain a half-litre (?), and see if things improve...

Tippy top of the dipstick is too much. They may have billed you for 4L but only used 3.4 or 3.5 which is still too much in my bike. To get it right on the dipstick -no more than half way between the marks, mine takes barely over 3L. I’d drain some if I were you. The oil will make its way to your throttle bodies and air box and you don’t want that.

Dammit - I gave this bike to the the supposed experts; the inside of the air box has enough oil to wrestle in. It’s afriggin Turkish bathhouse in there.
