Oil leak from plug cover

Had a good ride home from work last night and checked the bike over before putting in the garage.

Found an oil leak on the right hand valve cover. Took the little guzzi badge off and then the plastic spark plug cover and that is where it is coming from for sure.

So before I take the cover off what should I be looking for please? I know there is a spark plug sleeve in there and some sealing washers.....will this be the cause?

Sorry for all the questions, only basically mechanically minded!!! But I am keeping the GRiSO so do want to get involved and yes, must download the manual ( can't do it on this tablet )

Have you checked your valves recently? If so you may have nicked the o-ring on the plug cap sleeve.

Could be that then, as I had to put a new head cover on after being taken out by a taxi.
