| Headed north out of Vancouver this morning with Daves-I-Know on his Tenni. Thought I would post a few of the video stills. Unfortunately, there was a motorcyclist that was involved in an accident along The Sea To Sky to Squamish. Looked like he was on a Harley and took a turn wider than he should have but am not sure what the exact cause was. Just hope the rider is ok. Other than that it was a perfect day! | Cheers EOP That would be something if it were mph rboe! I'm pretty sure I'd be dead or in traction at this point! We actually had a discussion with the guy in the last pic. giving us the thumbs up bioman. He walked up to us at a Chevron just outside of Van. to chat about the Grisos etc.... He hung with us and covered our rear for most of the trip. Unfortunately, it's not a very fast road. Most of it is between 60-90kmh which is alright if you are just in it for the scenery. Anyway, being a former biker he thought the Grisos were pretty fantastic.... as did another guy and his wife when we arrived at our destination. Very cool to be out on the road with Dave and his Tenni. May head over to the Italian bike meet up on Tuesday after work and will try to get some picks if I do. | |

Cheers for posting. When two get that close I wonder if you have to have a bucket of water handy to separate 'em? Of course, such inbreeding would not end up well. OTOH, if a red were paired with a tenni, the pinkish result would be painful. I think Guzi has done a pretty good job with all the GRiSO paint schemes. Imagine -- if you will or even can -- the results if Pete Roper were the livery consultant. Thanks for the pix; the pickupper's thumbs-up says it all. Bill

| The little GRiSO 850 had a 30,000 service by Dave Ward, forks flushed and rejuiced, new tyres and a general spruce up. She is worth it, such a gem of a bike | |

| I really like the colour scheme of those later GRiSO's Steak Where did I put that part ? My bike shed is almost identical Mmmmmm thinking of a paint job on my 09 GRiSO now, Can't go full Green, ( don't wish to piss off the local Guzzi Gods haha ) but a copy of your SE , Green on a gloss black 09 GRiSO , would be a fairly easy job as the make believe 1200 S stripe I have at the moment will peel off with a small amount of heat [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]" /> | |

| Hey Supercoyote -
The bars are stock. My understanding is that the 1100 bars are a bit wider than the 1200. You may be noticing that. Additionally, the gopro was probably set on super wide which may further narrow the bar in terms of how it looks. Need to get a set of risers. I'd say that is the only issue I have with them.

| Impressions of little over two weeks of GRiSO ownership: -Any pretext to hop on the saddle will do! -Aching facial muscles from grinning all of 50-200 km's of riding at given time. -Causing rush-hourlike congestions of admiring people on sidewalks where ever the bike is parked. All and all, I love the bike to bits, most likely quite literally in the near future because it IS a Guzzi and will need fettling and TLC | |

| Dropped it at a stop light when my brain turned off and I put it in 1st but didn't pull the clutch in Came down really slow (thanks leg!) so pretty much just a scratched left-side valve cover, I don't think the bar-end even got scratched. Ah well - if it only happens once every 20 years or so I can live with that. Luckily no hot chicks were watching. I hope. | |

I rather hot chicks watch it than otherwise, a dude will tell every hot chick he met in his entire life about what he saw at the traffic light today
