Hello everyone,
Glad to join again MG community. This is now my second GRiSO. I had 2009 GRiSO SE Tenni Green which unfortunately I sold 2016.
I have kept an eye on new bike for a year and finally found 2011 release online in France. It took some time to convince seller than I am real buyer and it not a scam . But as always, online pictures look better than reality.
Bike was in real bad shape. As it was located just next Atlantic, then salt water had done a lot of harm. All galvanized bolts and nuts are red, powder coated parts bubbling, brake and clutch master cylinders paint in bad shape, chrome spokes rusting, maintenance has probably never done properly, rollerization is not done as local dealer did not inform originally owner about it.
I took it to parts – paint is almost finished, wheels will soon be refurbished, new Oberon slave cylinder installed, Stedi turn signals, Koso headlight, bolts and nuts replaced with stainless and titanium but more critical areas ordered new OEM’s.
Rollerization process is a real headache- local MG dealer + Piaggio want to send wrong kit, and I have now 3 months been trying to prove them with pictures and links to different forums, that they are wrong. It seems that at the end of the day it will be easier to purchase correct kit online.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

If it is a 2011 bike it will require an A kit. If it has the ‘Long’ plug tubes that seal in the rocker covers it is an earlier B or C kit bike. Which one depends on whether or not there is the drill mark in the paint of the head.

Hello Pete
thank you for getting back to me. I can imagine how annoying it might be constantly answering about rollerization upgrade . I have read many of your posts and watched Youtube videos, so I am quite confident that I need B kit. Guzzi wants to sell A kit.
Here is also picture of my covers:[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Sure as shit looks like a B/C kit rocker cover to me. Thing I find amazing is they are even considering honouring the ‘Technical Update’ at this remove!
If push comes to shove take their A kit and buy a B kit and on sell the A kit. For some reason the A kits retail for considerably more than the B kits. Why? Don’t ask me!?

Hello,
sorry if I was not clear. Not it does not come under warranty. I would need to pay full for the parts and installation. I do not have confidence anymore to let them do this work, so probalby will try to get this online somewhere and install myself.

Are there drill marks in the paint near the manufacturing date stamp on the side of the head facing the valley of the motor? If so it’s a B kit bike and the kit is listed, although out of stock, at TLM where I used to get most of my parts, for €854 including EV VAT or whatever it’s called.
Other sources like Agostinis and Stein Dinse may have stock, don’t know their prices.

I've managed to order a B kit on Gutsbits. They are expecting them in around 6 or so weeks. I'd probably get on with ordering one, as they have mentioned it is become harder to order.
