No. What we need is an internally mounted seal with the rubber lip on the outer edge facing towards the outer race of the bearing.

The seal is a weird size 36.5 x 46 x 5. It would be interesting to see if a standard 32005 has an inner race of 36.5?

My guess is it is a Guzzi specific bearing so we're locked in to buying from them. As I said the price isn't too bad. About $60 AU from memory and if they are greased properly from time to time they are going to last a very long time. I've already spent more than enough time chasing this particular chimera. Just buy the factory bearings. It won't kill you.

I reckon the one I posted earlier looks like a good bet, the seal looks identical in size to the original.

Yup. They were the £28 ones? That's probably not far off the $60 AU figure I suggested. The Triking mob obviously have an inside line I don't but I'm glad there is an alternative for when the factory discontinues supply.
