Swing arm bearings readjustment

Hi Pete,
I finally installed the new bearings and followed your recomendations above for the adjustment.
Would you recommend to readjust the bearings preload after a couple of hundred miles (in case the parts settle down and reduce the preload)?
It is not a big deal to do it, once it is only necessary to remove the left footpeg plate...

Just lift the bike under the sump so the back wheel is off the ground, (It’s rear heavy so the front will need tying down.) or use a lift that fits on the footrest plates like the HB or factory lift. Once the wheel is off the ground grab it and tug the wheel an swingarm from side to side. If there is any play in the bearings adjust it out.
