I finally installed the new bearings and followed your recomendations above for the adjustment.
Would you recommend to readjust the bearings preload after a couple of hundred miles (in case the parts settle down and reduce the preload)?
It is not a big deal to do it, once it is only necessary to remove the left footpeg plate...
