2016 GRiSO 1200 se breather issue

In my experience accidentally lubing nylon lined cables isn't always disasterous i have never had one seize , but there is no advantage whatosever. Jap bikes went over to nylon lined capbles in the late 70s i think but Guzzi were still using metal to metal throttle cables in the 80s

reporting back - cannisterectomy was a success - no more fuel drippage and the throttle cables are still loose and functional.

on another note, I did a valve job and replaced the valve cover bolts with some nice SS ones from Eagle engineering. good quality

correction ( I spoke too fast) - only adjusted valve clearance and the vendor is Lincoln Eagle engineering
