| I was having trouble using my bike pump on the GRiSO's spoked wheels. I can't get the locking lever to flip up to lock on because the spokes cross too close to the valve stem. I just ordered this little doohicky. Anybody else have this issue, and how they "adapted" to it? I know those lucky enough to have an air compressor have right angle heads, so not a problem for you, bastardos! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]also bought these, just to see what's better. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

| Looks like a good solution.
I do know for a fact that the Ariete alloy right angle stem like the one on the front wheel will not work on the rear. The convex nipple wells are too close together for the width of the stem base. Kind of a bummer. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2012 MOTO GUZZI GRiSO 1200SE2013 MOTO GUZZI STELVIO 1200NTX - Orange Blossom Special

| When I was living in Canberra I tried to get right angle stems put on my GRiSO. The guys tried for an hour and told me that it was impossible. At least they didn't charge me for it, which was a surprise. | |

| My bike has right angle air stems and I am soooooo glad they are there. My wife's Gladius does not have them but the next time the tires get changed so are the stems!!!!! | |

| I have an extra Ariete ready to go on my first tire change (which is really soon lol) and now it won't work you say? That sucks! How 'bout taking some material out on the stem? I 'll investigate that then... | |

That sucks! How 'bout taking some material out on the stem? I 'll investigate that then... Pascal, that could work. I don't think that you have to remove much material, and it shouldn't affect the seal. I was considering doing the same for my next rear change.

| I thinking the same... one millimeter on each side would do the trick it seems. And only at the bottom part so the whole piece isn't weakened. I'll do it this weekend so we'll know for sure... | |

| Pete, you are too good to everyone, not like Canberra Motorcycle Centre who I was talking about. Although the last time I got tyres from them they didn't charge me for fitting. Here in Geelong it's nearly fifty bucks for fitting 2 tyres. | |
