| Hello all. I am new to Moto Guzzi but not new to motorcycles. I picked up my first Guzzi after eyeing V7s, the new V85 and various California’s with thoughts of a Cafe Racer style conversion that I could commute on. After looking and looking, I decided I didn't need another project and I picked up a 2012 GRiSO 8V from Cadre Cycle to add to my fleet. I’m pleased so far with everything but the weather. 17 degrees this morning and I won’t be riding for a while... I ended up purchasing an ECU flash for a stock rollerized GRiSO and it smoothed the throttle tremendously which is the only thing I didn’t like on the test ride. So now the wait for decent weather begins I am looking for recommendations on bags and a good looking windscreen. Does anyone have locking leather bags? PS. I can't say enough good things about Cadre Cycle. I've had friends buy from Enzo there and others purchase parts. My wife bought a Buell Blast there and all nothing the best dealership experiences I've had. Knowing how few Guzzi dealers there are I went out of my way to say this. | Is it one of the very rare factory roller Tenni's or is it a converted flat tappet machine? I hope it is rollerised? | |

| It has been rollerised by the dealer Pete. 12k service and rollerisation just performed and I could see the wear on the old tappets he gave me. | |

| Very nice. Welcome. I have one of the faster RED models, , but the green is compelling. Lots of bag info on this site; see, e.g., this: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Yes, the weather sucks green (sorry; unintentional ) eggs, but this, too, will pass (eventually). And, Grisista Ghettoist Nobleswood here and likely others are near to you, at least by Guzzi-range standards. I am thinking about rerouting my semi-annual mutton run to Daviess County (Ky.) via Cincinnati to ride some different roads and visit Cadre, too. Best, Bill | |

| I'm just a few miles west of Cincinnati. I too bought my GRiSO from Enzo. Good people.
If you're available, I'll have my GRiSO at CincyCycles East on Wooster Rd. next Tuesday fitting a new front tire and making up braided brake lines. I have bags and a screen on the bike. I got both from Cadre.
My number is: 513-284-6927 If no answer, leave message.

| Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I may take you up on that offer Rick. We will have to get together either way sometime and go for a ride. I’m in Sharonville actually just a few miles from Cadre. | |

| Heya Turbo, good catch. An Enzo-rollerized Tenni doesn't pop up every day. I likes me some hard bags, so I have this setup - [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Which you can read about here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I'm in Dayton. On the first Saturday of each month some of us old Guzzi farts get together for 9:00 breakfast at KJ's in Germantown. Could be 3 people or a dozen. In the good weather there's usually an impromptu ride meandering through SW OH / SE IN. Bring that pretty green thing up sometime. Same goes for you, Rick Pope. Sorry I missed you before. Some of us wander down that way with some frequency, whether it be to Rabbit Hash or a chicken run to Wagner's in Oldenberg. I myself just this summer discovered Kreimer's beer garden in Cleves, which seems to be a glorious place to catch some live music, a beer and a brat on a warm Saturday. I'd like to catch the Euro bike night in Milford, but the fact that it's on a school night (Thursday), plus there being no good way to get there from here that isn't a traffic sh%t-show in the evening has prevented this. Hope to meet you guys this year. | |

| Oh yeah, Wagner's chicken is the best.. We get there several times per year. Oxford is about half way between me and Dayton. I have an old riding buddy who just bought a V7 from Enzo who lives up your way.
Give me a "heads up" if you're coming this way. I'm retired and can usually get away.
