| I'm still prepared to play with the elecktrickery but I'll need someone to hold my hand, as in, in my shed with a laptop while I watch but don't touch.
Meanwhile, I need ride time to give my bank account recovery time. |

| I thought you had a power commander?
Anyhoo, to play only costs the price of the cables. It won't turn Bella into a pile of slag, and you can always go back. Besides, one of the other chaps in Brisbane with the GD Kit may volunteer to rape your ECU. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! .

| I've had 2 Guzzi's with PC's (a III and a V), both have failed under warranty. Next time, it's in the bin.
I operate on the premise, "Less is more". (With the exception of coffee and chocolate, and steak, and ...........................) |

| Expensive - the cables will cost about $25, any old (and I mean old - mine is a Pentium II I got back in '99, running Windows 2000) laptop will do - XP or later if you want to run TunerPro - a bit of patience and you can have nirvana (well you might need a few goes at it to reach that high, right Beetle?) in your ECU.

| On the first page question about the kit ecu, that map is known as. 2229BRVSP05 if I'm not wrong. You do have that map Beetle. | |

| Oh dear, I thought I better put on the standard exhaust for my rego check this morning, rode down for said inspection and ho hum, performance was woeful - had trouble convincing Black Betty to do anything except chuff along at minimal revs. On a brighter note, the megaphone will be going back on as soon as the exhaust has cooled down.
Can't believe the difference.

| Move to Qld, only need RWC when transferring ownership. One more reason I'll be keeping Bella till I die.
Off topic; just noticed I'm no longer "Don Abbondio", what is Fra Cristoforo? |

| I sort of got used to being a dark eyed bald headed green monster, now I'm just a grey haired ol' fart. Looks a bit like the bloke I seen in a mirror the other day. |

| All back to normal - sings like she used to - going to/from work should not be this much fun.
Checked the RTA website last week - indeed I lost 4 points for my small indiscretion in Royal national Park in April. Behave myself; do I have to? Yes you do!

| Mark, fitted the B20F map to my Sport this morning and then rode to work (I know, it pays for the small pleasures I can afford...). Reset TPS but not the learning parameters and left the CO trim at -5. Some observations:
- Even crisper when getting on the throttle from pretty much all RPMs; - Acceleration seems to be quicker; - Felt like the front end wanted to fly in the lower gears - I'm not one to do this but I should be careful; - Before when changing gears (up) there was almost a hint of a backfire as I rolled off the throttle between gears. Now there is a definite backfire. Not a bad thing, but interesting, nonetheless.
Impressive Mark.
Does not seem to be any change in consumption, though to be fair, I did not reset any trip stuff. This weekend will tell what it's like on a trip. Currently averaging 5.0-5.1 l/100 km if I stay out of traffic.

| Well, Mark, went from work to the MGOA NSW meeting last night in TRAFFIC (damn I hate traffic...). and then back home later.
Backfiring on the overrun is worse - much worse, especially below the magic 2600 RPM. I would guess the air/pressure/temp table has changed some fuelling responses in the rest of the map?
Once I hit the freeway though, she pulls like the proverbial 15 year old. Had to restrain myself from going too far over the speed limit (though I very much would have liked to) as I am points poor for another 34 months (but who is counting?).
Perhaps you can do me a favour on Saturday and take "Black Betty" for a spin - it's only fair you sample your handwork, after all.
Open road is good excellent, around town is the pits - I even felt a bit self concious with all the noise she was making, well only a little bit.

| The new air-pressure-temp table will actually be making AFR more rich, thus inviting more fuel in the pipe to go pop. If you can put up with it until the weekend, a logging run will get us that much closer to perfection. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| No worries mark, just commenting on what I noticed. On the open road it's not a problem and we can certainly look at where to from here on the weekend. | |
