| Fellow Guzzi fanatics and GRiSO experts. I've been long lusting at Guzzi's since I heard a Mk 1 LeMans decades ago. Simply = Church Music. Over the years I've owned European, Japanese (VFR's) , but always have looked at Guzzi's and particularly the GRiSO. Would any of you esteemed, kind people have any concern on purchasing a non-current demo (2013) with 1800km on it? The bike will come with a new factory warranty and a bunch of other stuff. First service has been done, and is being sold by a authorized dealer. Along with tires, battery etc, is there any worry I should have? Will come with a Mistral and stock exhaust. I don't ride a lot but looking for soul, ease of maintenance (I'm okay with that) and to me what is a true classic. :-) Sorry for my intro to ask on the membership, but from being a long time lurker, this site is the absolute bomb with a ton of experience and esteemed guidance on it. I've been riding since the late eighties. And the deal on this GRiSO is aces = New 16k Canadian this one under 10 and will come with a new factory warranty. Many thanks to all for your thoughts and guidance here.

| Hi Dave, and welcome to the forum. If you haven't already picked up on the 3 most important facts from your research, I'll tell you. 1. Buy a GRiSO with roller rockers, which you've done, (mid 2012 onwards). 2. Grease your steering head bearings, swingarm bearings and rear susp linkage bearings asap. 3. Install a "Beetle" map (NO! not VW) that suits your Mistral. Later on you may need "startus interuptus" mod, but this is not urgent. ENJOY! |

| Welcome to the Ghetto! You won't be disappointed - I was after a bike that matches your desired traits and the GRiSO checks all the boxes. | |

| Hey Dave I live a half hour north of you in Peterborough.
The GRiSO is a fantastic bike and i love ripping into the roads south west of rice lake. Service is minimal and when you do need help the support in the Ghetto is great.
The GRiSO brings the soul and power on like a waterfall.
The mechanic at Corsa M. in TO is great to work with and they have many bits in stock
Let's see another GRiSO in these parts!!
Good luck Norm | |
