| Got my seat back from MJM seats today. Looks great and feels really comfy. It's even got red piping round the back of each section that matches the bike's new paint. | |

The seat looks great! What is a ball park figure and turnaround time. I take it that you part with your original seat and they refurb? Do you ride two up much? What are your pillions thoughts on the back seat? Is this an " off the shelf design or did you design yourself? BTW please excuse my tardy reply about the catchup to try your suspension upgrade. I've been mostly out of action for 2 1/2 month following a retinal detachment grrrr. I'll PM you when ai'm fit for a longish ride.

Pete Thanks Pete, you're a gentleman ! Now I'm back to a least a little riding and the weathers improving the thought of laying the Beast off for a while feels a tad depressing.... | |

| Mandrake, it cost me $525 including postage and took about a month coz He's flat out doing seats. I used to take Heather on the back all the time, but she has her own bike now. She did come on one ride with me and she said it was much more comfy than the original. I asked Mick to put in about 10-15mm more foam especially in the pillion section, but it's his design. I just chose the material and the red piping. I just got back from a ride on the slab to Adelaide and back. My bum only started getting sore after about 650 km so I think the seat is great. Looking forward to catching up. | |

| It's a long shot but does anyone ( in Oz) have an old/damaged seat that they'd be prepared to sell? If possible I'd choose to hang onto the OEM one as it's essentially brand new albeit it makes my ass cry!
