just get a memory foam seat base profiled to the shape you want-any local seat repairer will be able to do it. cost is around £120. the stock cover is elastic enough to fit back over it.

the job takes only an hour, so just find a seat recover bloke, book it in, and wait until it's done.

Steve, The popular one many folks have is the Corbin Gunfighter seat. I don't know if it's position would be what you want and it's $500 USD. You can get a new seat from AF1 racing (Austin TX)for $125 USD. and play around with that if your worried about ruining the one you have now. But most likely Papa had the best idea and I'm sure has done this himself. Welcome to the site too! Great people here.
I am a big fan of the Corbin Gunfighter. The Guzzisti I purchased this bike from bought a Corbin, then paid a custom upholsterer $400 to re do it in ostrich leather! Rick.

I just had Sargent do mine. Moved the rear rise back an inch plus flatten the drivers area and added their super foam to the front. I didn't do anything to the rear to save money but they certainly would do anything you wanted. You really can't go back too much due to the handlebar reach.
A stock brown seat is still $100 bucks or so from the dealer. I paid $284 to Sargent. Happy with the results.
Brown may not be my choice of colour, but love the diamond stitching and sweet bike in red I’m very interested in what exactly your upholsterer has done? eg. Has he used leather for the top cover? or was he able to re-use the stock seat’s cover? Has he altered the profile? or increased the height?

And, ^^ what is that muffler? Haven't seen that before. But I'm still pretty new here.
The upholsterer did a whole new cover for me, there is an extra layer of foam under the leather for the red diamond stitching to stand out. Wanted something different than the all black seat but the brown leather does clash a bit with the red bike.
The muffler is a titanium racing can, but it ruins the daily use so I have gone back to the stock one and the engine runs much better.
The bike is all original, very low miles. But there is a recurring issue for me with the internal fuel pump pipe that seems to fail every few years. 5 times now it’s gone. Must be the ethanol in the fuel.

Given we're going up to E10 in UK imminently, ethanol problem is going to get worse !. Best you'll get is the current E5; but surprised current stuff is failing your pump (I have fuel tank bulges but no fuel delivery issue) ??

Have you replaced the hose with a fully submersible type? Recurrent failures are usually down to the wrong hose being used.

Well, it’s been trial and error with the fuel pump hose. First time hose came off. Was just refitted. Second time changed for new clips and pipe, OEM from MG. Third time changed the clips for jubilees Fourth time hose again. Fifth time changed the hose I’m told for ethanol resistant material. Hopefully will last longer this time…….

It HAS to be a fully submersible hose. Otherwise it will fail again. The correct stuff is dear as poison, something like $45 for 300mm. Gates do it in short lengths. If it was replaced with normal FI hose it will fail again.

SAE 30R10 is the spec you need.

Avoid ethanol fuel - it does "stuff" to plastic tanks. Just don't!
