The LH indicator on mine rests on the pipe. I've just been too busy and too lazy to be bothered to do anything about it. One good thing about CF is it doesn't get very hot as its a lousy conductor.
What I should do is swap the indicators. I'm not a great fan of LED types and they require a resistor which is a bit of an embuggerance. I might just see what the local bike shop has in the way of cheap aftermarket crap to bolt on.

I've got some conventional smaller replacement blinkers (in black), but I haven't been bothered. Maybe it's time to bother.

Well, finally got my slip on today... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Nice piece really, but why the fuck does it have to be so close to the turn signal for one thing and not even the soft panier bracket will bolt on with it for second. Dumb asses!! It's not like there isn't enough real estate. Anyway I will fabricate an intermediate pipe that will place the exhaust tip not only lower but also not as far back. I do like the sound of it. Not loud at all with the db killer, just a nice hooligan rumble.

It's pretty but it won't solve the poxy stock mapping issue. If you used one you would need a can with extra pipe like the Mistral Hi-Pipe and be sure to use the dB killer. You might get away with that, but I aint betting the farm.
The assymetrical headers are a thundering nuisance as far as fueling is concerned, but if you were to go symmetrical you would need to move the oil cooler, and I loves me oil cooler where 'tis.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I didn't like that oil-cooler lump at the right side as I didn't like the asymetric headers.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Stelvio headers and crossover, which I modified to make my Mistral High Rise fit.
I think I'm ready with my G12 now... but I'm not quite sure...

Now those are some inspired modifications! Kudos for making your GRiSO your own Ad B.
How have you addressed fuel mapping after changing the exhaust route?

Hi,
no, I didn't do anything with my mapping after changing the headers. I'm not convinced it's needed. I think the exhaust gasses doesn't matter if they flow at the left or the right side... If so, a Stelvio mapping...? Or a Sport 8V...? I placed a temperature gauge (because I moved the oil cooler...), my G12 runs at about 85° C (185°F). In full traffic, traffic jam, at temperatures from nearly 30° C (86°F) outside, it went to 105° C (221°F). And the bike still runs like hell!!

Yeah! I love that oil cooler mod Ad B. Very big improvement.
And I just looked up the Agostini can on youtube and that sounds very good. Just enough personality without getting annoying. Excellent addition to a GRiSO.

All inspiration aside. The best part about the GRiSO is its lack of concentricity. The oil cooler on the right and the pipes on the left are integral to its appeal. The GRiSO is crooked and I wouldn't have mine any other way.

I'm with Steak. I want my GRiSO to look like a GRiSO, not the same as every other bike. Blah.

One of the first things that attracted me to Guzzis was their asymmetry. The GRiSO just takes it to another level.

Thank God or some other Holy Spirit there are different thoughts on this world. My opinion is that a bike like a Guzzi or a... bmw must have one header at each side. A 2 in 2 or a 2 in 1 exhaust, that doesn't matter to me. And that big oil cooler lump at the right side, took away that fabelous looks of the V engine. But that's my opinion according to my 3 nicely working braincells.

Sorry Ad B, I am with those guys from the New World.
I like the side facing oil cooler very much, it is a well engineered system. The tapered plastic louvers matched the wedge shape oil cooler inner shroud to give a constant air flow to the entire fins area.
I bet it's designed by someone with an engineering degree

Hi Phang (and other GRiSO disciples...),
Don't be sorry if you like the stunning looks of the GRiSO with original header/oil cooler more as the way I made it. I like the combination of tradition with a wild charisma...
Keep up our "GRiSO-ism".

I applaud you for your ingenuity and ability to achieve what you've envisioned, and for making your GRiSO your own. It is YOUR motorcycle after all.
I wouldn't view the comments as criticism but rather just expressions of preference.
Just don't put a big ass Swanee fairing on there. Some criticisms are warranted...

I'm not into the asymmetry but I can accept the muffler. The oil cooler tho has GOT to get "improved".

I like it. Well done , if it does take away from the Grisoness its now all the more unique.
Are there any pics of parts fabricated to do the modifications ?

Very cool thread on exhausts here. NOW my question is for the 8v Grisso, which piece is the lightest and most quiet, that will work with stock map? In fact if everyone would weigh their slip-ons (in lbs) this would be good info for future members as well!

The ARROW can is 1.75 kg vs. 7.8 kg for the stocker. It's not loud, but I wouldn't call it quiet either...
