Interesting pics. Is that the rear air inlet snorkle on the floor with a bit of airbox connected to it ?? why is that off ? as you only need the airbox cover to get to oily bits usually ? Maybe explains why you pulled the battery out as I don't even bother to disconnect the battery, just flip it out and lay it the other way...even when I pull the tank off..Probably a no-no, but saves hassle of getting the wiring lined up for the seat (extra connectors for trickle charger; and nothing to reset in clock etc.

The light is playing tricks, the air box is intact and complete with snorkle. You need to get the battery out to access the TB intakes to clean them and spray them. Also take the opportunity to clean and grease the battery terminals. As it happens the bike is being prepped for the winter, so I usually take the battery out and put it on a trikle charger.

Talking about coloured accents, I had red/yellow/orange + accents yesterday. Went for a ride wif big brudda (V7II) upto Queen Mary Falls and back via the melon patch, our worst road by far.
We stopped for a bacon and egg breaky at a popular motorcycle coffee stop. A short while later I was able to do a real world road test of my Schubert C3 Pro helmet and my new Alpine Star perforated white leather summer jacket.
It appears breaky didn't agree with me, having a technicolour yawn at 110kph is not recommended. The flip front helmet passed with (or by) flying colours, the jacket not so. Steve took evasive action.
The rest of our 310k ride passed without incident, did some fettling of my new Showa fork internals. Had a ride of the stock 2015 V7 II Stone over some pretty rough ground, suspension not at as bad as expected. Ridden to the conditions it was quite acceptable, would only be a drama if ridden stupidly fast. Single front disc is a bit wooden, rear brake is just as bad as Bella, long travel, spongy, no feel. We are both open to advice/options.

Surely a 2 disc setup for the front is doable, Wayne. You have machinery do you not, or mates?
