2011 8V tenni w/low mileage and termi exhaust for sale in SF area.

Didn't listen to it. How much are they asking? Has it been rollerised? I'd guess not.

Price not listed, but says only 214 miles. Did someone buy it, ride it home and leave it for 4+ years? Crazy, Maybe a result of an estate sale or bankruptcy? Looks to be in great shape, and something about that Tenni green...

I like how instead of a normal voice-over everyone is now doing their "for sale" videos with the weird computer voice generation thing. Robots selling machinery.

With features like "disc brakes" how could it fail to sell? Seriously, if that is the only feature, it's a sad day indeed.

Still, if you took away the guff, there may be a good project bike underneath. Get the top end rollerised and away you go.

It has a flyscreen and an aftermarket pipe.

If you buy the kit? A couple of grand but you end up with a rare thing, a Tenni that hasn't had a chance to go udders skywards. Mark S. Can tell you how expensive that can be!

Get them to knock $1000 off and provide a roller kit at their cost. You pay for kit.

Do youse guys know what exhaust that thing has?
(I'm leaning toward making sure I get a bike that Mark has a very good map for already.)
Pete: I read your info about 2015s having a better oil pickup.
Since I can pick and choose, perhaps I should just narrow my search to 2015s.
Of course, I don't see me ever doing a wheelie unless Karen totally pisses me off and she's on the back that day.......

Oh but Pete, the excitement of riding a time bomb!  I take it as long as I ride and have it checked regularly it is not worth jumping towards rollerdom?!? What did you get out of yours 50k? I am only on 8K and everything was in tolerances when checked a couple of month's ago.

Is it worth pricing up a kit for mine to get an idea? [ 2011 model ] over here in the YUK!

Termi exhaust is the original 'Factory Approved' aftermarket can. It's OK but it's heavy and Mark reckons they make the bike vibrate horribly.

As for the oil pick-up thing? Really it's a non-issue as long as you check your oil level regularly and keep it between the Add' mark and half way to the 'Full' mark, no higher. The Cali sump is a nice thing but really, it's not *neccessary* just nice.

The main concern with that bike is it's a flat tappet model. Build that into the price and you're golden. Just remember that like most modern bikes if you plan on keeping it then there will be things that will need checking like whether the swingarm and steering head bearings have ever been visited by the grease fairy and that the first thing it's going to need is a proper tune up.

As a 2011 model it should only need the 'B' Kit which is a pretty easy install, I'd do it pre-emptively in hindsight and recommend others do as well. It will more than pay for itself if and when you choose to sell the bike because you can say it was rollerised before it had a chance to fail adding substantial value to the machine! If you are going that route I would suggest pricing the kit from a variety of sources globally and doing the sums on exchange rates as prices for kits vary widely from market to market but cost advantages have to be weighed against current exchange rates.

I've changed my mind. It think I may have had a mounting issue. I'm remapping it now for the rollers, and have noticed no undue vibes.

Haven't you learnt yet? You aren't allowed to change your mind! It upsets the shrieking hysterics!
