| I found a 2013 for sale locally.
I read that late 2013 2012 is when the changeover to roller motors took place.
Is there a hard and fast VIN number where the change over happened, or is the typical Italian "fluffy" date?

| According to this 2013 should be roller.
Stelvio AC : After AC12596 03/12/2012
GRiSO A8 : After 13524 04/12/2012
Norge AA : After 12214 04/18/2012
However the VIN of the bike in question is 111780. | |

| Fwiw - engine# 013293 was assembled in Jan. 2012 with the flat tappets. Now a roller though  | |

Norge (AA): from AA 12214 18-04-2012
These aren't all accurate though as later motors have been found with flats. Just whip a rocker cover off and have a gurn!

| It's close enough to the official changeover to make a visual check worth it. | |

| Yah. I couldn't get the shop that was selling my Stelvio to pull a rocker cover to check the tappet type but I was pretty certain it was a flat tappet turd and it was!  All fixed now but it explained why it was so CHEAP! Pete | |
