Subject: GuzziDiag and mapping a Breva 1100 with a GRiSO 1100 Sun Jul 19, 2015 11:33 am
I was wondering if anyone here has or knows someone who has installed a GRiSO 1100 2V map in a Breva 1100 2V. I know the intake and exhaust are much different between the models, but the engine is basically the same. I just purchased the Breva last year with ~3k and I'm looking to make it run a bit better. I received some maps from a generous user on another forum and it was suggested to try it, I just don't want to muck anything up. So I'm cross posting on boards for opinions.
TIA

Why put a GRiSO map when there's a breva map available... Mark has developed one for a full stock Breva 1100. PM me your email so I can sand it to you.

PM Sent Thank you!
I was actually planning on working out my own map after I found a recording software on the android market was compatible with my $10 OBD2 to Bluetooth converter.

Hello Mark, let me ask you a question.
What is the value for Base Stepper Steps on this map?
For stock map is 80, for BRV12 release map (which is still installed on my bike) is 100. I am asking because my bike is tuned based on this value, 100.

Well that is a bit disheartening, I would like to know the hows and whys of the map. Is there a thread for this work in progress anywhere?

Well, I've had no feedback from anyone using the map, so no reason to continue work on It.

I suppose that would do it. I also suppose that if you wanted me to have the map specifically you would have offered it up directly. Since it is a work in progress, how can I help? I'm learning to use the logging software I have, though it is relatively slow sampling. I do not have the LM2 system that everyone is keen about, and I'm not looking to spend to much money. I will probably replace the cat with a crossover pipe at some point. It would probably be beneficial to get a crossover with an O2 sensor bung for each cylinder so one could determine how each cylinder is working. That might be a possibility, though I'd rather spend the $800 on a crossover and Mistral pipe.
