| Taking my first rides on the GRiSO in the twisties of the Anza Borrego desert mountains - some of my favorite SoCal roads....been riding here since the '70s. Cooold this week if you get above 2000 feet, but well worth it. After feeling tentative for the first day, got into the zone today and stopped thinking about lines - just made them.. Gonna like this bike... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Very nice ride! Thanks for the cool pic. I've never been down there. Sand in the corners a problem? | |

Not usually. The roads are generally in good repair, grippy and well banked/graded. Here is the loop we did today....Palomar tomorrow I think. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Desert mountain riding must be a hoot. This time of the year, where I live, you pray that there isn't an ice patch on the other side of the bend, LOL

| Palomar is okay but I like 1 to Pescadero Rd to 84 to 35 to 9 to Jamison Creek to Empire Grade better. | |
