Hi all,

I've got a 2011 GRiSO 8v, and so far love the bike. Been riding bikes since 1977, and previously owned a 1000s, one of those I wish I'd never sold. Anyway, the GRiSO is definitely 'different' from the norm, and ticks all my reqts.

Cheers

Hi TonyG
I have a 1100 2V and have heard the 8V go alot harder up top.
All good fun, which is what it's all about.

Hi Harry,

I've ridden both and the difference above 5000rpm is noticeable. I'd swapped a speed triple for mine so was used to revving the motor. 1100 was fine though, I'd be happy with either.

Cheers

Cheers Landman,

We are having some nice Autumn weather here and the more I ride it the more I like it. It's happy charging about or just lumbering along looking at the scenery.

Agreed, this is the bike that feels at home anywhere. We had a great autumn as well, unfortunately we are quickly running out of days... If I make it to November without snow it will be a miracle.

Snow, here in OZ summer is on its way, and we get to ride in winter.
Mate it must be hard looking at a GRiSO and not being able to ride it.
But then I'd rather look at a GRiSO than look at a Universal Japanese Motorcycle.lol!

Unless it is pissing down here I'll still get to take it out for a ride now and again. Otherwise, it's out to the garage with a cup of tea or a beer to do some meaningless task so I can look at it morosely.

I'll be spending some time this weekend wiring the heated grips. They may not buy me any more riding time, but at least I'll be comfortable...

Brock, if you need any tips/clarification on what needs to be done to install/wire up those grips let me know. There are some steps learned from experience that can make it a lot easier.

It takes a little time.

Cool, thanks - maybe I'll take a few pics while I go.
I wired Koso's on the 1200 Sport, and also on the brothers bmw x-country, but this will be the first time with the pre-wired system.
