First mod on the GRiSO, LED headlight with classic look, no projector lenses and legal in Germany. Koso Thunderbolt looked nice and has a good light pattern. Apparently after checking the headlight internals its not so straight forward to fit it into the GRiSO shell.
There are two challenges, first how to fit it properly, its a little too small from a diameter so there is a little gap between the headlight and the GRiSO outer ring.
Second the daylight running light needs to turn off or dim when the normal beam is active, this is by law required.
For the first little issue, i did some quick and dirty 3D design and printed this out.
Second problem can be fixed by some electronic boxes. For example Highsider does offer some solutions for that.
Result looks okay, still need to mount it and check if it really stays in place. I ran out of black PLA filament thats why the adapter is white in the inside.

Polish manufacturer WESEM has released excellent reflectors with the EGC-1 marking. They have homologation. You can chose - black or white. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

From the looks they don't have the two mounting points at the right position.

I don't know. I have to measure it.

My local auto elec fitted an LED light to my project. I gave him the shell and he gave me back a light that is both legal and effective. Cost $425.00. I don't know the brand.
