Fuel Filler Cap Rubber Seal/O-Ring

Does anyone know where I can get another rubber seal/O-ring for the fuel filler cap? See pics: I mean the one that seems to go around the fuel filler cap, and not the big one that fits under the circular aluminum flange, or whatever it’s called. I looked on MG Cycles and Harper Moto and they don’t seem to have them. Unless I’m searching for the wrong thing….

You might try AF1 Racing in Austin. They’re a go to place for many of us.

I think you will find that, unless it was something that changed on later models, it doesn’t exist.

The cap mechanism has a ‘Rubber’ sealing gasket that goes between it and the tank itself but I can’t remember ever having seen or installed a big o-ring between the decorative surround and the outer flange of the tank filler.

Let me have a squizz at the parts lists.
