battery cable crimp

i've managed to break the neg battery lug so looking at crimping a new connection on the cable.
Does anyone know the diameter of the cable? We just Beetle mapped the bike to a Mistral and dying to ride it.

If it is any help in UK & europe electrical cables are all quoted by the cross sectional area of the conductor (and occasionally by Standard Wire Gauge) in USA they use American Wire Gauge which is slightly different to SWG lol!.

This site Wire size linky lets you put in conductor diameter and get mm2 and AWG if you use SWG in Canada you need to convert again
