And today’s annoyance is High beam on when not required

My problem today (riding in the rain again, must stop doing that) is that the high beam comes on randomly when the switch is in the low beam position.

The wiring diagram in the workshop manual is a bit confusing it shows item 56(headlight) with 55(low and high beam) and 54(tail light bulb). Is this just a typo for parking or pilot light?. Looking at the diagram it is fed from the switch the ecu and relay.
Has anyone got a part number for an equivalent relay? Thanks

Ok had a better look at the diagram and I think the relay is for all lights so it isn’t that. So must be either switch or short on the wiring?

Sounds like could be high beam flashing switch - especially as it faces the rain !

Mine does that too if I ride in rain. If the switch block gets water in it, it's high-beam time.

Nowt to be done about it.
