That is the plug that was intended to power the optional sat nav. I beleive it is a TomTom plug
It appears to be powered directly from the alternator on the Light Logic circuit so i assume (1) there must be a 12v regulator inside the alternator (2) that TomTom lead is only powered when the engine is running

The female end of that connector can be had. It is some sort of a euro standard.
