I have no affiliation with this and it’s on the other side of the country from you but if it’s any help in your decision... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Yes the price is far higher than any others I see.
Big question, any one here ever ridden one ?

Yes, IMHO they are not an example of Guzzi's best.
Apart from being built at one of the points where the company was on the bones of its arse they have a very weird throttlebody system that is difficult to tune that uses a TPS that has long been unavailable. The gear ratios are a one-off and spares are almost impossible to find. Need a bit of bodywork? Forget it!
My advice? Don't walk. RUN. Run away! Like the wind!
Oh, and 90% of their owners are seriously mad in the sort of way where they will back you into a corner at rallies and spend three hours telling you about how their aunt Gertrude used to run a school of interpretive dance for guanacos in Uttar Pradesh and showing you pictures of their operation scars.
Nope! Not today Satan!

Hells no!
Enzo is a good guy, so I wonder if it’s on sale by consignment? Undoubtedly owned by one of Pete’s interpretive dance people.

I should of added that you can buy a Stelvio for similar money to the OP's find. Apart from being ten times the bike a Quota is you can still get most bits for them.

Highway robbery! You'd be lucky to get that price for a 2013 Stelvio NTX.
That's a $3500 - 4000 motorbike at best.

I have ridden Quotas. They feel a bit off putting in my opinion. Wherein the v-11 spineys are a joy to ride, as is the Stelvio...

New M-G dealer in Columbus OH ( only 2 hrs away)
Riding that way in Sept, perhaps I`ll test sit a V85

Granted, it's populated by cultists, but this is as close to the GrisoGhetto of V85's as is out there:

Kathi and I just got back from a few days in Wellsburg, Pa. -- where she tried to kill me by hiking; almost succeeded.
Anyway, it's a lovely part of the middle of nowhere. But when we pulled in to the lodge parking lot, two of the few guests were on motorcycles. One, this!
New to Guzzi all-brands, but mostly, a Ducati guy. On his first 1K miles. Likes it.
I cannot quite flatfoot it with my 30" inseam, or the model would be of more interest.

Throttle Co in Columbus are as you said a new MG dealership. They are enthusiastic & honest, Dylan & Nicole. They started off working on vintage Nortons Triumphs & 70’s bikes, Honda 750’s etc. Then they got the Royal Enfield dealership which has worked out well for them. Now they have taken on Moto Guzzi’s as well. They are building a community around the various bike events here in town & developing a presence for the non HD bikers in Columbus
Honestly, though I know & like them & what they are doing, Enzo & Cadre are more knowledgeable about the marquee.
I’d still buy from them if they had the bike I wanted in stock.

EightEight If you are 6 foot 7 inches and 17 stone - a Quota might be interesting.. But even then the technical peculiarities that Pete lists mean $2800 - maybe

More ice cream and you can compress the suspension and flat foot any bike.

I am 5'6" and the V85 TT is too tall for me, even when fully loaded. Looks like the forks can slide up the triple clamps for a bit, would require a shorter shock to get it lower. Unless you are tall, like 6', I would say forget about it

6'+ /34" inseam / 170lbs I suspect the V-85 would fit
