cam cover leaking, not the hose Empty
PostSubject: cam cover leaking, not the hose   cam cover leaking, not the hose Icon_minitime1Sun Jul 31, 2022 3:37 pm

GRiSO been doing a lot of miles this summer, 6000kms in the last 2 months, still running like a champ.

however, the round blanking piece which has the breather hose attached to it is weeping just enough to splatter my boots...

Apologies if this has been covered before... whats the best course of action, order a new o ring (if it has one) and refit? Or just remove it and apply a bit of hi temp sealant and refit?

cheers as ever

Be aware there are two different styles of breather plate and they are NOT interchangeable and take different O-rings. Make sure you order the right one. A thin smear of Threebond 1211 will also assist in the sealing but is rarely necessary.
