Haha! Truth! I like La Moto in Arlington, but they have no inside storage for customer bikes. I brought it there in Thursday for a major service and found this out. I'll trailer it to Richmond if I have to...

The kit A has been placed on order from AF1 racing. He told me there are kits available stateside and that he can get them within 10 days or sooner.
BTW, I've never used a trailer before, much less put a motorcycle on one. I had a hitch installed on my car though. Should I rent one and practice before attempting to move this beautiful beast about?

There are y/t vids out there of the successful ... and NOT ... kind of trailer and motorcycle action.
I have one of these -- the trailer, not the Harley! -- with a Condor chock and premium straps.
You are welcome to borrow it. If you do, when you come out, I'll demo loading, unloading, strapping, securing, backing, etc.
If you prefer to do on your own, U-Haul has a $20-a-day kind that is heavy but works well.

Don't strap the bike down with the kickstand down too. I found it helpful to get handlebar straps to avoid the metal hooks rubbing when I had bigger bikes strapped down.
If you don't want to mess with repairing the stock mid-pipe I bought an arrow titanium one from Italy for cheaper then most and while it's not as good as stock for torque I'd say it's 90-95% as good, honestly now that I've been riding it for a few months with the new pipe I don't notice any difference. It still pulls like a bat out of hell when I want it too. I got it for $230 shipped to USA.

Pro Taper 1.5" Tie Downs (Black)
Also I have an appointment to get this pipe repaired next Saturday.

That trailer is a beast! I have a Subaru WRX. I'll have to look at the towing capacity to see if I can even hook it up to my hitch. My hitch is
EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" Item # 306-X7257
From trailer
Sorry, can't post links yet... Noobie

You can probably forget the U-Haul!
OTOH, the Aluma MC10 is all-aluminum. Weighs 500#, tho the spare and mount and Condor chock are not gravity-free. Still. total towed weight before GRiSO is <600#. Add the GRiSO's c.500# and your towed weight is c.1100.
I have towed it thousands of miles with my -- sigh; gave to daughter -- '93 base Toyota pickup, and put a hitch on our '09 Fit (with 267K miles) to take over those duties.
But I declined to put a hitch on our new Fit as (at least in NA) towing voids the warranty.
Do you have a buddy with a pickup?
Bill

I just looked it up My WRX can tow 2500 lbs, and the hitch is rated at 3500. The max tongue weight of the hitch is 525 lbs. I think we're good with my car as long as the bike is centered on the axle.

All good.
I replaced the cheap chock that came with the trailer with a Condor.
Moreover, as delivered, the chock was, IMO, too far forward.
So, I had "staff" install the Condor farther back.
If you think that's unsat, I'll put staff to work again.

They finished welding that broken bracket. Looks pretty good...I can actually hear the engine now.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I received the roller cam kit today. Just need to get the work done now

Update: my bike is scheduled to be rollerized by Gemini Motorcycles in Sterling VA on 7/23. This is the first time doing this job but they have read up on some articles from you all and watched Peters video removing the cam assembly.

If they have any questions? Get them to email me, or even call, (As long as it isn't the middle of the fucking night!). I'm happy to help and advise. It's really pretty straightforward though. Especially on an 'A' kit bike where the heads don't need to come off!

Yea, their service manager was confident they could do it without a hitch. I'll certainly let them know your willing to advise if need be! Thanks!

Mind you, their service manager is not likely to say 'I haven't got a clue but we'll have a go at it' is he?

Great looking bike! On another note I am constantly amazed by the high level of support offered on this forum, well done you lot! By the way I understand the bike is throwing a couple of curve balls financially at the moment, but if and when you can afford it, have a chat to Beetle about sourcing a map for that Mistral high pipe. When I owned the same set up as you I did and I reckon I have made my money back in fuel saving many times over. Not to mention the way improved fuelling and throttle response.

He's been honest actually... They also were recommended by the Guzzi dealer across town...

Hi and thanks! This forum has been great and I'm moved by the support I've received here! I feel as though this is "our" bike and it's my duty to get it in top shape, lol! I've got cash set aside for this ride and will definitely be mapping it after the cams are installed. I already got the cable and software installed on the laptop!

The rollerisation is underway by Gemini Motorcycles! I'll report back later today for an update.
