The CARC on the GRiSO is knackered, ran with no oil due to pinion seal failure.
I have the CARC from a 2009 Breva 1200 that I could use to replace the GRiSO one, different colour but not an issue.
On the GRiSO CARC the speedo sensor mounting holes are diagonally offset as are the holes on the speedo sensor, on the Breva CARC the holes are level, the speedo sensor is on the r/h front fork.
Question is can I fit the GRiSO speedo sensor to the Breva CARC and will it work.
Yes, you should be able to fit it. Hadn't realised the mounting holes were different. As long as the sensor fits and sits in essentially the same position the same distance from the mounting bolts for the disc as these are the triggers it should work just fine.
Oh, and before you fit it do the Loctite 290 trick on the pinion nut just for safety's sake.

Pete, Thanks for the info. Didn't know the sensor uses the disc bolts as triggers.

The webs also play a part. Aftermarket discs EBC?? with a slightly different web profile and a solid ring at the base of the webs will confuse the sensor.

I fitted an aftermarket EBC disc to match the fronts except for the wave, came up cheap on ebay brand new. Fronts are EBC too came with the bike, original discs front and rear are superior to EBC for durability in my opinion. Truth be told first time ever had trouble removing a disc was on the GRiSO, chewed the heads so left old disc on wheel which sort of helped with its sale.

No, it's just the bolts. The aftermarket discs with the ring and bits confuse the sensor because they not supposed to be there.
I guess the point I am trying to make is that the air gap between the webs is important. A sold disk bolted to the hub wouldn’t allow the sensor to differentiate between bolt / no bolt.
