Lonelec Guzzidiag Interface Cable - 2022

The Lonelec cable link in Beetle's 'New Improved Guzzidiag Tutorial' on Wildgoose doesn't link to anything anymore.

Is this the right interface cable?

Thought I'd ask & confirm here for future searchers to see & know.

They now have other options including the E5 compliant plug. I have one of these but it's really a waste of time and money until GuzziDiag can talk to the newer ECUs (E5 -> 11MP). This may also never happen if the gods can't crack the protection. Still...

That is the correct kit for 15x/5AM/7SM ECU's.

Assuming my 2015 GRiSO 1200 8V SE comes with one of the above ECU’s?

I use a non portable 27” iMac and an iPad Pro, so not ideal for this job.  Hoping to loan some sort of laptop. Are the drivers cross format compatible?

If I buy the flash relevant Termignoni map, can I then use it on either Windoze or Mac?

I found the link for Lonelec, and ordered a cable kit
I’ve just had a thought… with a USB-A - USB-C adapter, can I use the iPad Pro with it’s USB-C port?  ie can the software run on iOS?

Finally what do I need to balance the throttle bodies?

There are Mac & Windows specific drivers. Linux doesn't require drivers. GuzziDiag won't run on iOS, so your iPad is of no help. You need a MacOS or Windows or Linux laptop or tablet.

The maps are just raw binary files. They are not platform dependant.

To balance the throttle bodies, you'll need a manometer, mechanical or electronic. I recommend the Morgan Carbtune.
