New Mirrors - KiWAV - 850 GRiSO

Just fitted these new KiWAV mirrors. Definitely good quality for $160 AUD (about $110 USD). Absolute improvement on original set which were rusting; been polishing them for 12 years, chrome finally wearing off. Not completely in love with these mirrors yet; time will tell. Just didn't want to go wider with bar end mirrors.These are narrower and sit a bit lower than the originals. If I fitted from under the base with other fittings I could get them down about 1cm or so, but, from my head height they seem OK. I'll adjust as I get use to them. Cheers Charles

I'm not a fan of bar ends either. The chrome originals are awful as well, you were lucky to get twelve years out of them!

I'm quite happy with the later black 'Aprilia' mirrors mind.

I purchased a new set of those as well (a few months ago) but, they came out too far each side. My bars end-to-end are 80cm. A little narrower I think than the bigger Grisos, so they just looked a bit strange. I've still got them in bubble-rap, so might use them if I grow tired of these. Cheers.

The 850's and 1100's actually have wider stock bars than the 1200's. No logic to it.

Italians ... no logic but beautiful designers ...
