| My chrome mirrors whilst in good nick for an 8 year old bike are showing their age. Whilst I would not dream of parting with them I am thinking of fitting some black ones. What are sensible replacements? MG ones or aftermarket ones. can anyone advise?

| I replaced my chrome mirrors for Aprilia black ones. They work much better than the chrome mirrors, look good, and are cheap. See e.g. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and search for part # 8104921. | |

| If you want to keep 'normal' mirrors, the Aprilia mirrors used on the later model GRiSO are pretty good and cheap. Part # AP8104921 & AP8104922.

. I second Beetle! I've just put a set on my GRiSO, and they are heaps better than the chrome mirrors that came with it. Much wider field of view. I purchased them from GPS Imports who sent the LH and RH mirror as ordered but only one of the handlebar bases was included, I advised them immediately, it's been 10 days and ... nothing. Probably best to get yours from somewhere else.

| If you have problems getting one let me know when I'm home. I have the bases off the buffed up shitter my motor came out of. I'll post you one.

Pete Thanks Pete, but I've reused the chrome bar mounts from the original mirrors (which have the same diameter collet clamps) so I won't need one now. Cheers Terry
