...and why do they not use this version of the engine e.g. for the V7 850 + 2 discs and better shocks, etc.?

Jan, Thanks for posting. I liked going to the home page and looking at the financial report. Looks like a Piaggio is doing OK and the Mandello factory is going to get a face lift from Gregg Lynn the architect. I think our member “Pete Street” needs to be included to build a sculpture for the renovation!

I guess because the v7 aims for the entry-level market. Plus it will be cheaper.
