Does anyone know if there is a signal wire from the ECU to rev counter ? I have the wiring diagram and workshop manual showing pins from the ECU and into the speedo / rev counter but none seem to be specific rev counter input. There are two to the ECU but they both appear to be from the sensor.

There is a rev-counter output on ECU pin V9 which gives two pulses per engine revolution. Not used on the bikes but is in the ECU code, presumably from anoyher varient or application. John

That's great. I've connected to the input signal of the coil at the moment but prefer to read from the ECU. Thanks Evans
