| The weekend was beautiful so I went a long ways. Two tanks full worth long. By the time I was back home, my butt was killing me.
I am 180lbs/81kg. Is there anyone who makes a more comfortable seat for the GRiSO. My reference is a 2007 Norge. I did multiple 200 mile+ rides and my butt did not hurt like this.
Thoughts and ideas on how to make the seat more comfortable for long distances?

| I put this bead cover on mine and it helps a lot. I got 2 of them from Amazon for a tad under $18. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| I did 240 miles Monday, all back roads, on a stock seat. The Airhawk made it bearable. That said, I would prefer a different seat, one with a slightly raised rider section so as to provide a bit more leg room. | |

| Hey Tx,
If you can't find one locally to borrow and try out, I could loan you my Corbin to see if you want to purchase one yourself. I can use my original till you send it back. I'm in the hill country.

| I had a custom seat made by a local guy. He did a great job but in the end (heh!) it wasn't better/cheaper than a Corbin. It does allow a passenger so there is that. | |

| I don't understand how 200 miles in a day could be a problem, but I can say for sure that 600 miles on the original seat is torture, for me. Kiwi_Roy's trip to Alaska using a Corbin seat convinced me that those must be pretty good, but that didn't cause my hand to extract my wallet. | |

Yes, thats the hard part, all day comfort though with that and lowered pegs from Knight design.

| Saddles are such a subjective thing. Good luck in your search. Keep in mind, if you put a Russel Day Long saddle on the GRiSO, I will ban you from this forum... As for the Air Hawk, I can't abide them. Feels like a trouser load of wet poopies to me. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2012 MOTO GUZZI GRiSO 1200SE2013 MOTO GUZZI STELVIO 1200NTX - Orange Blossom Special | |

| When I first tried Airhawk, I didn’t like it either. Then a friend told me I had too much air in it and I should only fill it about 30-40%. He was right. It makes a big difference. Fill it like so: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| I keep mine so it barely supports me. Too much air and it feels like you're trying to ride a soccer ball. | |

| Step 1 Box it up and send it to Sargent
Step 2 They turn it around in 48 hours "Sargentized". The price is very reasonable.
Step 3 Ride in comfort | |
