but a Cold Hard Fact is that there is always room for improvement  

as for cane toads and the current map (see what I did there )... it depends on if and when they actually open the NT and WA borders.
the second mexican wave is likely to cause a hiccup there I hear...
also at present, quite a few of the operators in the NT have decided not to even open this season.
so we'll see.
we'll keep putting north, hopefully make it to the Cape, and then..... might reverse our course and go clockwise instead!

Yesterday I had avery pleasant return ride to work. 61 k each way. Thoroughly enjoyable in the sunshine, Black Betty was the essence of compliance. Started of in cool temperatures and she didn't miss a beat.

the rider, on the other hand, probably needs fettling. My jacket is tighter (obviously shrunk) my jeans tighter (shrinkage also) and my riding condition needs to improve. The joys of working from home fro 3 months. A training regime has started to reduce the porkiness, increase the metabolism, gain fitness and all that other shit. I've heard that losing weight also allows you bike to go better. Stay tuned for transformation of the pilot.
